How long does delivery take?

Germany:
Standard shipping: your package will arrive within 3-5 workdays.
Express shipping: within 24 hours for orders made Monday - Friday by 12:00 (orders after Friday 12:00 will be delivered on Tuesday).

Austria:
Standard shipping: Your package will arrive within 5 workdays.

How much does shipping cost?

Standard shipping in Germany with DHL and shipping or mail in Austria costs € 4.90.

Express shipping costs are € 12.50.

Payment by cash on delivery (COD) costs an additional € 4.00 cash on delivery charge + € 2.00 DHL delivery charge, which is payable directly upon delivery of the package.

What happens if I'm not home for the delivery?

The delivery person will try to leave the package with a neighbor or someone in your building. If this is not possible, he will leave a notification card, which you bring to the nearest post office in order to pick up the package. You can pick up your package within up to 7 days in Germany or up to 3 weeks in Austria. The exact dates can be found on your notification card.

Where can I have my package delivered?
In principle, delivery is possible within Germany and Austria. At this time delivery to other countries is not possible due to logistical reasons.

Who can I contact if my package does not arrive?

You receive an e-mail from us confirming that your package has been shipped, as soon as it leaves our storage facilities. If your package does not arrive, you can reach us any time by e-mail at service@kangaroos.de or at the following telephone/fax numbers:

What payment options do I have?

Payment by invoice
You will receive an invoice with the delivery, which you can conveniently pay
via bank transfer within 14 days.

Payment by credit card
We accept Visa and MasterCard. The data transmission is encrypted
according to the latest safety standards and is therefore absolutely secure
from access by third parties. The dispatch of submissions is via 256-bit SSL
connection.

Payment by COD (only for orders within Germany)
When the package is delivered, the invoice is paid directly to the delivery
person, or with your debit card at the post office. The COD fees of €4.00 COD charge and €2.00 DHL delivery charge, deducted directly by
DHL, should be paid directly.

Payment by advance payment
Upon receipt of your order we will send you an order confirmation with the
amount due. Once we have confirmed receipt of the money in our account,
the items are shipped from our storage facilities.

Payment by PayPal
You will be redirected to PayPal. Log in with e-mail address and password
into your PayPal account and confirm the order. The money is then
transferred from your PayPal account directly into our account.

Payment by bank transfer
We arrange the transfer of the amount due from your account. You only need
to fill out the appropriate spaces during the order process.

What is the minimum order amount and order limit?

There is no minimum order amount at KangaROOS Online Shop.

Order limits:
Payment by invoice / debit: €600.00 (new customers €300.00)
Orders of higher amounts can be paid by credit card, PayPal or prepayment,
and in Germany also by COD.

Are the items I choose always available?

Basically yes! The website only shows items that are available. Once you proceed to checkout, we will automatically check the availability of the desired article.

Could items that are currently out of stock be delivered later?

It is possible to order out-of-stock items later. It’s worthwhile to periodically check the website for desired items.

Can I get a get a precise delivery date for specific items?

Unfortunately we cannot comment on the future availability of our products.

How can I return or exchange ordered articles?

If you would like to return or exchange purchased items, you can ship them back free of charge within 14 days.

Please note that we only accept returns that are unworn, in perfect condition and with the original tags.

If you’d like to exchange an item, you must make a new order for the new item. A direct exchange or a transfer for a replacement article is not possible.

Retail items purchased in a shop can only be exchanged at that shop; likewise items purchased at the Online Shop can only be exchanged online.

Returns from Germany:

In Germany, you can ship your return in one of 13,000 post office branches. Your nearest collection point can be found at: post office in your area.

Please pay return shipping fees from Austria, but these will be refunded immediately, if you send us an e-mail stating the amount paid to service@kangaroos.de. Or contact us by phone at Tel: +49 (0) 6331 7107-67.

Important: Please keep the receipt for the return costs until the amount due has been refunded.

Why do I need to give my phone number and date of birth when ordering?

We only need your phone number in case any questions arise about your order. We need your birth date in order to clearly distinguish you from other customers. Furthermore, to order from KangaROOS it is a prerequisite that you must be at least 18 years old

Why should I register as a customer?
As a registered KangaROOS customer you have many additional benefits in "My KangaROOS": Address book: Your personal delivery address book stores all of your shipping addresses, as well as your main delivery address. There’s no need to re-enter that information – simply click the desired address. My orders: It’s possible to oversee your shopping history, as well as keep track of orders. Newsletter: Subscribe to or cancel the newsletter. My wish list: You have the possibility to add products to your wish list. Simply click on "to my wish list." On your wish list, you can leave comments about each item and see when you added it to the wish list.

How can I search for items?

Our KangaROOS Online Shop is divided into the following areas:

Within these categories, you can select further categories in order to reach your desired item.

Another way to search is to enter a search term such as the item name or item number. You will then be forwarded directly to articles relevant to your search.

What does “Your Pocket“ mean?

At "Your Pocket" you’ll find your shopping cart with the number of items and the total. If you click on "Your Pocket", it will display all the items you have placed in the basket. You can find the detailed description, chosen color and size, and the quantity and retail price for each requested item. By clicking "X" you can delete the selected item. "Checkout" will take you to the next step of the ordering process.

The term "Your Pocket" is derived from our original secret pocket, which is found once again in many KangaROOS products.

What is the original KangaROOS pocket?

Bob Gamm founded KangaROOS in the U.S. in the late seventies. The avid basketball player invented shoes with a small pocket, perfect for stowing loose change or a key. From the start, this unique pocket made KangaROOS stand out from other brands. The original KangaROOS pocket can still be found today in every KangaROOS shoe (except sandals and ballet flats), and in KangaROOS children’s clothes.

What is the pocket money promotion?

With our pocket money promotion, every month five winners are chosen to receive € 20.00 pocket money each month for one year. We’ve hidden tokens with winning codes in our products. Simply enter the codes on this form. If you don’t find a token in your purchased KangaROOS item, you can answer the questions on this form to take part in the raffle.

How do I find the right size?

Next to every style you can find a measuring tape. Clicking on the symbol, a size chart will open.

Privacy and security in the KangaROOS Online Shop

All personal data is treated confidentially. Information necessary for the transaction will be saved, and if necessary passed on to affiliated companies, to the extent necessary for the fulfillment of the contract.

Our SSL (secure socket layer) transmission works with a 256-bit encryption, which ensures that your personal data cannot be read by third parties. Who can answer my questions about KangaROOS products that were not bought in the Online Shop?

Your contact person is the retailer where you bought the item, since the sales contract is with them and not directly with KangaROOS. Therefore, warranty claims must be submitted to that dealer and not to us. The KangaROOS service team cannot provide information about those claims.
